Memorial Assistance Program
For Families
Our Memorial Assistance Program was inspired by an act of love shown to our family after the loss of our daughter, Adalyn. Adalyn’s aunt stepped in and reminded us that we didn’t have to navigate life after loss alone by covering Adalyn’s cremation expenses and urn. That simple act of generosity meant so much during the most difficult time of our lives. Today, we are honored to offer that same gift of compassion to other families.
Our Memorial Assistance Program is available to families in Pennsylvania and to families connected through our partner hospitals who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood (through age five).
Because this program is entirely donor-funded, assistance is based on available funding and eligibility requirements. While assistance cannot be guaranteed, every request is reviewed with compassion, care, and confidentiality.
How the Process Works
- Complete our Family Contact Form
- A member of our Family Care Team will contact you as quickly as possible (within 24 hours of contact form being completed)
- We will review your request and gather any necessary information.
- If approved, payment is made directly to the funeral home or service provider.
We understand that timing is important, and we work to review requests promptly.

Who can utilize this program?
No family should have to worry about paying for memorial expenses while grieving the loss of their baby/child. Memorial Assistance is available to eligible families in Pennsylvania and to families connected through our partner hospitals who have experienced the loss of a baby at any point during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood (through age five). We encourage you to utilize this program regardless of income or financial situation.
What expenses can be covered?
When funding is available, the Adalyn Rose Foundation may help offset eligible funeral, cremation, or burial expenses, including:
- Funeral home services
- Cremation services
- Burial services
- Caskets or urns
- Cemetery or burial plot fees
Assistance is available for up to $500 toward cremation expenses or up to $1,000 toward funeral or burial expenses.
Because this program is entirely donor-funded, assistance is subject to available funding and eligibility requirements. Payment is made directly to the funeral home or service provider whenever possible.
How quickly are requests reviewed?
We understand these requests are often time-sensitive. Our Family Care Team reviews applications as quickly as possible and will communicate with families and service providers throughout the process.
Is assistance guaranteed?
Because funding is made possible through generous donors, assistance depends on available funds and program eligibility. Every application is reviewed individually and compassionately.
